21-year-old unemployed Paget man who admitted he had a drinking problem.
Lance Tucker, of Ord Road, pleaded guilty to driving while impaired on August 7 at The Lane in Paget.
Police saw Tucker riding a rental cycle west around 3 p.m. Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting, said Tucker was weaving on his side of the road.
When Police stopped Tucker he appeared to be drunk. His lowest reading on an alco-analyser test was 175 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
"I'm going for help for drinking on the first of next month because I have a problem,'' Tucker said.
Mr. Judge said he had to ban him for a year but postponed fining him until September 10 and bailed him for $500.
