rest of Britain's Overseas Territories is set to make her first visit to Bermuda next month.

Baroness Patricia Scotland -- who replaced Baroness Elizabeth Symons last year -- has visited other Territories and Caribbean nations, but had yet to take a trip to Bermuda.

Premier Jennifer Smith announced that the Baroness would arrive in Bermuda in the early part of next month during an interview with Premier Jennifer Smith on what is normally a radio phone-in talk show -- where no calls were taken.

Deputy Governor Tim Gurney confirmed that a Foreign Office visit was on the cards.

He said: "We are still working on it at the moment. We're just trying to get final details at present.'' Talk show host Everest DaCosta said last night that he did not bill the hour-and-half show as a phone-in.

And he added: "I had so many questions and the newsroom had questions too -- I had hoped to open up the telephone lines, but time just ran out on us.'' But he said a hoped-for further interview with Ms Smith would probably include a phone-in section, while a scheduled interview with Opposition leader Pamela Gordon would almost certainly have participation from callers.
