But, in addition to the positive publicity, the recent Privy Council decision not to allow a McDonald's restaurant on the Island has hit a sour note with some US families. According to an ABC News website, the lack of fast food outlets can be off-putting to vacationers with children.
And the news came as a recent survey by American Express revealed that US travellers spend an average of $720 a year on fast food -- an increase of 43 on the previous year.
But Bermuda's golfing received good reviews from two magazines, the Met Golfer and Senior Golfer.
