Vandyke Ralph Ebbin and Christopher Franks were stopped by Marine Police 22 minutes apart on September 7 as they traveled between Godet's Rocks and Harbour Road in Paget.

The men pleaded guilty on Wednesday to traveling at 15 knots in a no-wake zone.

Ebbin, of Forest Hill in Warwick, told the court no signs were posted, and he had no idea he was breaking any law until Police asked him to stop.

Franks, of Riddell's Bay in Southampton, and Ebbin were each fined $150.

BANNED DRIVER WAS IN ACCIDENT CTS Banned driver was in accident A banned teenage driver involved in a crash after losing control of his vehicle was yesterday fined $600.

Shuja Muhammad, 18, of Bobs Valley Road, Somerset, was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Sgt. Rex Osborne, prosecuting, told Magistrates' Court on Tuesday that Muhammad was involved in an accident in Camp Hill Road, Southampton, on August 26.

It occurred after he lost control at a bend, and collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.

Muhammad admitted driving while disqualified and without due care and attention.
