According to Police, people hiding in bushes at the roadside lobbed the bottle as the bus passed around 9.30 p.m. on Friday.

A US visitor at Marley Beach guest house on South Shore had his wallet stolen as he lay in bed.

The tourist was in the bedroom of the guest apartment when he heard a noise from the living room and caught the raider red-handed. The visitor chased the culprit, but could not catch him.

The wallet contained cash, traveller's cheques credit cards and personal items.

Early yesterday morning, a 46-year-old Pembroke man was arrested after being discovered in an empty room in the Rosemont guest house on Pitt's Bay Road, Hamilton.

Seized was a rucksack containing a number of house-breaking instruments and a wall-mounted TV was found on the floor.

A man is expected to appear in court in connection with the incident.

WOMAN, 20, MISSING, POL Woman, 20, missing Police yesterday appealed for help in tracing a woman missing for four days following a family argument.

Leshea Adams, 20, of North Shore Road, Pembroke, was last seen at home last Wednesday around 5 a.m.

A Police spokesman said: "The family are very concerned about her welfare and would appreciate any assistance in locating her.'' Ms Adams is described as being around 5ft 5in, heavy set, with a light complexion and black hair.

CDS STOLEN FROM VAN CRM CDs stolen from van A pile of CDs by Bermuda act Lazy Boy have been stolen from a van, Police said yesterday.

The van was hit after being parked outside a house in Cherry Hill Park, Paget, overnight on Thursday.

The 150 CDs -- all of the single Left Hand Side -- were in a box inside the van. Anyone with information on the theft should contact Hamilton CID at 295-0011.

The Commission for Unity and Racial Equality will host tomorrow's gathering where participants in their workshop entitled `Improving Race Relations in the Workplace' will be honoured.

The one-day workshops, which were held in May and June of this year, were designed to examine and recognise how prejudice, discrimination and racism could operate in the workplace to the detriment of the company.

Some 130 people took part in the workshops endorsed by The Bermuda Employer's Council.
