The two-and-a-half-yea-old boy, who has not been named, was unconcious after apparently swallowing seawater while at Spanish Point on Saturday afternoon.

Police officers called to the scene, at 2.30 p.m., discovered the boy's distressed mother at Admiralty House with the child, who was limp and not breathing. The officers rendered first aid and established a rapid pulse.
