Guests staying at the Elbow Beach Hotel in Paget reported "a large quantity of cash'' stolen from their bedroom while they slept with the sliding glass door unlocked on Wednesday morning.

An undisclosed amount of US cash removed was removed from their clothing, which was dumped on the ground outside.
