time in the school's history on Saturday night in a thrilling finale in which the school barely saw off a challenge from runners-up Clearwater Middle School.

CedarBridge, runners-up last year, won a laptop computer from Bermuda Computer Services and a series of other prizes after scoring 240 points.

Clearwater came in second with 230 points and won the current events segment of the competition, which was sponsored by The Royal Gazette .

Saltus Grammar School came third with 225, Mount Saint Agnes was fourth with 210 points, Sandys Middle School was fifth with 160 points and defending champions Warwick Academy trailed in sixth with 145 points.

The competition was organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sport at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess and was shown live on ZFB Channel 7.
