The Development Applications Board has approved the consruction of a 200 seat building at the corner of Watlington and Brighton Roads for the church of about 100 members.

The congregation is currently using a school on Sunday mornings for services -- as it has done throughout it's 24-year history in Bermuda.

The church, will be open for church and non-church activities and will have parking for 20 cars and 20 cycles.

Pastor Cecil Pulley said: "It has long been a desire of the church to have our own building.'' He added: "The facility will be flexible. We will be able to use it for other activities such as wedding receptions, meetings, and sporting activities.'' CHURCH CHU
