report on two Bermuda College students who admitted stealing motorcycle parts.

Dennis Michael Kelly, of Battery Close, St. George's, and Paul Edward Simons, of Mount Road, St. David's, pleaded guilty to stealing $276 worth of motorcycle parts from Devon Bascombe on October 1.

The theft was discovered by Police when they stopped 17-year-old Kelly and 18-year-old Simons at Kindley Field Road, St. George's.

Simons, the passenger, tried to conceal a seat he was holding at his side, Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting, said.

Both Simons and Kelly confessed to stealing the parts when arrested and taken to St. George's Police Station, he said.

Kelly helped Police recover the cycle from which the parts were taken.

Both teens have no previous criminal record.

They were each released on $400 bail with a like surety and ordered to return to court on November 19 -- when the social inquiry report is expected.
