Further legal action has been launched between an Island cottage colony and the widow of its former president.

Cambridge Beaches has obtained an injunction against Roberta Trott, the widow of former owner Thaddeus Trott, in connection with the battle over the home she shared with her husband.

The new action comes as both parties await the verdict in a civil case over whether Mrs. Trott has the right to remain in All Spice Cottage, which sits in the grounds of Cambridge Beaches.

The hearing concluded in February and Puisne Judge Norma Wade-Miller has yet to render her decision.

It is understood the injunction was sought by Cambridge Beaches after incidents involving the cutting back of hedges surrounding the cottage. A further hearing is pending.

The original case surrounds the existence of a lease for Mrs. Trott to remain in the property after the death of Mr. Trott, from cancer, in 1997.
