Arnim Donawa, of Middle Road, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court yesterday to driving at 77 kph on April 10.

Donowa asked to be allowed to keep his truck licence which he needed for his job.

But Acting Magistrate Kim White said he was required by law to disqualify Donawa from all vehicles within the same class as the vehicle he was driving, which included light and medium weight trucks.

Donawa, who prior to the offence had an unblemished record, was allowed to keep his motorcycle licence.
