39-year-old father of three who admitted possessing heroin and drug equipment, and obstructing Police.

Allan W. Furbert, of 21 Midland Heights Crescent, Hamilton Parish, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to the offences which occurred on December 13 last year.

Prosecutor Sgt. Donald Grant said narcotics officers stopped a car in which Furbert was a passenger on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish.

When they informed Furbert that he and the vehicle would be searched, Sgt.

Grant said Furbert got out of the car and said: "This is s... You're not searching me.'' The officers later searched Furbert's home and found drug equipment and .04 grams of diamorphine in a blue, leather fold-over pouch.

Furbert said the drugs were a friend's who had stopped using.

Mrs. Mapp set the matter down for sentencing on June 8.
