Andrew Fox, 30, of Vaucrossons Crescent, Pembroke, Victor Bean, 38, of Area View Road, Devonshire, Kenneth Smith, 48, of Slip Road, St. George's, and Antowyn Bennett, 32, of Mount Road, St. George's, deny the offences, which allegedly took place on January 17 this year.

They will appear for mention at Supreme Court on December 1.

At the same Supreme Court sitting, Puisne Judge Norma Wade-Miller also ordered Michael Clemens, 23, and Sharif Boyd Taylor, 24, to appear for mention on the same date.

The pair deny importing, possessing and handling 340 grams of heroin on August 21 1999.

And Michael Jones, who has pleaded guilty to wounding with intent to do grevious bodily harm, will also appear on December 1 for sentencing.

SCHOOL CHANGES STRUCTURE ED School changes structure Saltus Grammar School is to change its structure to bring it into line with other schools on the Island.

The move will allow students to go straight into the senior level without having to spend a year in transition at a middle school.

In addition, it will mean Saltus students enter IGCSE and GCSE exams a year earlier than present.

Headteacher Nigel Kermode said: "This move will allow students to sit the Saltus entrance exam one year earlier, at the conclusion of their primary years and at the point they would be entering middle school.

ROOFTOP ARREST CRM Rooftop arrest Police arrested a man from a rooftop after receiving a report of a burglary in progess.

Police attended Tools and Equipment on North Street in Pembroke on Wednesday night after receiving the report.

They found a 24-year-old Pembroke man on the roof of the building shortly after 9 p.m. and arrested him on suspicion of attempted shop breaking.

The suspect was taken to Hamilton Police station and detained.
