for completion early in the new year.

The complex is currently undergoing a gradual upgrading of several areas and general manager J.P. Martens said he expected the work to be complete by March.

New rooms are expected to be added and food areas are being extensively revamped during the scheme.

Mr. Martens said the hotel had remained open during the programme and the work had been done in order to cause the least disruption to guests.

"We are in the midst of the work as we speak,'' he said. "It will look fabulous.

"We have continued to provide service to the guests and tried to keep disturbance to a minimum.''
