The guest woke up at 3.30 am. to find an unknown man fleeing from his room and jumping onto a pedal cycle.

He chased him for a short while along Pitt's Bay Road, and later discovered a camera, purse and money clip with cash had been stolen from his room.

Another thief stole cash from a house in Sleepy Hollow Drive, Hamilton Parish on Saturday.

And a crook broke into the Four Star Pizza on Angle Street, Pembroke, in the early hours of Saturday and stole a laptop computer and a small safe.
