The complainant said she left the car unlocked for a short period of time early in the evening and when she returned, she found her handbag, containing cash, bank cards, a camera and other personal items, had been removed.

In a separate incident, a thief took advantage of an unlocked car in St.

George's to remove a handbag containing cash.

The complainant said she left the car with the doors locked on York Street in St. George's shortly before 3 p.m. and returned to find that someone had gained entry through an open window.

And a Fork Lane, Southampton man reported that his car was broken into overnight on Tuesday.

The man said the car was left secured at approximately 10 p.m. and that he returned the next morning to find that someone had forced their way in and searched through the interior, but nothing was stolen.

The complainant said the television was placed in an insecure locker early Wednesday morning, and was discovered missing later that night.

WALLET STOLEN CRM Wallet stolen A wallet was reported stolen from a purse at Lindo's Family Foods on Middle Road in Warwick on Wednesday.

The complainant said she accidentally left her purse in the parking lot around 2 p.m. and returned sometime later to retrieve it.

The purse was still there, but the wallet had been removed.

HOMES BURGLED CRM Homes burgled Police are investigating break-ins at two residences on Midland Heights Crescent in Hamilton Parish on Wednesday.

In both cases, a thief forced entry into the residences, and a Sony DVD player and an RCA satellite receiver was stolen from one of the residences.
