Beach Hotel on Wednesday night.

Three youths with knives confronted the couple at about 10 p.m. on a footpath from South Road to the hotel, Police said yesterday.

The 44-year-old woman handed over a shoulder bag containing a purse with some US cash, credit cards, and other personal items, while the 62-year-old man was stripped of his wallet.

Police recovered the shoulder bag nearby, along with some of the stolen items.

The three suspects are black, all wore white T-shirts and dark pants, and are believed to be in their teens.
