Hurricane to bring wind and rain on Saturday

The hurricane, packing winds of about 130 mph, is due to come within about 290 miles west of Bermuda early tomorrow morning.
It will give winds of up to about 30 knots and rain as well as a possible thunder storms.
The winds and rain should die down by tomorrow evening and on Sunday the wind should be between 10 and 15 knots and the skies should clear.
Hurricane Hortense caused massive damage when it hit Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic earlier this week, killing about two dozen people including many children.
It swept past the Turks and Caicos islands and the Bahamas on a track that could threaten the northeastern United States this weekend although it is likely it will head out into colder Atlantic waters. For more see Page 9.
