A 25-year-old Warwick man has been charged with marine related offences and theft. He has been released on Police bail and will appear in Magistrates Court on August 16.

In other incidents, Police in St. George's arrested a man after he allegedly threatened officers with a screwdriver.

Officers detained the 31-year-old Hamilton Parish man after complaints from the public that a man was wandering in the road, threatening people with the tool.

After a brief struggle, the man was arrested at 1.40 a.m. on Wellington Street. He was taken to St. George's Police Station, where he was detained.
