reunited with a scarf she lost more than two years ago.

The American holidaymaker mislaid the blue scarf in February of 1991 during a visit to the Island with husband Paul. And that, she thought, was the last she would see of it.

But she hadn't counted on the service provided by restaurant boss Mr. Nicola Russo.

La Trattoria manager Mr. Russo, who hails from Capri in Italy, had put the scarf aside after the couple left it there two years ago.

"I am thrilled. It's just so kind of the restaurant. We thought we may have left the scarf there, and couldn't believe it when it was handed over,'' exclaimed Mrs. Gnazzo this week.
