Wednesday. The 67-year-old man was crossing North Shore Road, Pembroke, at the junction with Coney Island, when he collided with a moped travelling east.

The pedestrian, of no fixed abode, suffered a head injury and abrasions to his leg. The 16-year-old girl riding the auxilliary cycle suffered abrasions to her right leg and both arms and shoulders.

Her 19-year-old pillion passenger received minor injuries.
