reserve officer was knocked down on Kindley Field Road on Wednesday night.

A 45-year-old St. George's man was released on Police bail and a Police spokesman said the officer's injuries were not considered serious and he was treated at hospital before being released.

The officer was conducting vehicle checks by the side of the road when he was hit by the white Subaru car.
