sexual assault against a woman during the monthly arraignments session in Supreme Court on Friday.

The man is alleged to have committed the offence on May 29, 1995. During the commission of the alleged offence the woman is said to have suffered bodily harm.

Lawyer Mr. Juan Woolfe appears for the man who was released on bail and will appear on January 2, 1996 for mention.

In other arraignments yesterday, Calvin Vaughn Anderson 32, denied using an offensive weapon to rob a woman of $150 that was contained in her handbag on July 9, 1995.

He also pleaded not guilty to breaking into a home during the night with intent to commit a felony on the same date.

Anderson's case will be mentioned during the next arraignment session on January 2, 1996. He was released on bail.

He was represented by lawyer Mr. Archie Warner.

Keeman Fitzgerald Grant, 25, was remanded in custody for sentence after he pleaded guilty to robbing Orville Nesbitt of $30 on September 8, 1995 armed with an offensive weapon.

Grant who will be sentenced on December 12, was represented by lawyer Mr. Mark Pettingill.

Former bank executive Arnold Todd Jr. who faces 17 charges relating to his work for the Bank of Bermuda appeared briefly in Supreme Court Friday.

Todd, of 16 Pearman's Hill, Warwick, faces four charges of false accounting, four charges of obtaining property by false pretences and five charges of stealing.

He is also jointly charged with Varnel Robert Curtis, of 6 St. Anne's Drive, Southampton, with false accounting.

Todd is also charged with Milton Samuel Woods, of 14 Old Road, Southampton, with alleged false accounting and with Cecil Oliver Durham, of 16 Ramgoat Hill, Smith's, also with false accounting.

Todd, Curtis and Woods have also been charged together with false accounting.

All the charges relate to the Bank of Bermuda.

Senior Queen's Counsel Mr. Michael Pert said that the accused were all involved in a lengthy preliminary inquiry in the Magistrates' Court and the court record was not yet complete.

The men were all released on bail and will appear on January 2 for mention.

Mr. John Riihiluoma appeared on Todd's behalf, while Mr. Richard Hector appeared for Milton Woods. Varnel Curtis is represented by lawyer Mr. Delroy Duncan and Mr. Julian Hall appeared for Cecil Durham.
