The Royal Gazette understands that Joseph Fray was working near the junction of Church Street and Cedar Avenue around 12.37 p.m. when the accident occurred.

He was believed to have suffered a broken pelvis among other injuries. He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he remains in the Intensive Care Unit.

No-one from the Public Transportation Board could be reached for comment yesterday.
