pleaded not guilty to the charge, in the Supreme Court yesterday.

A July mention date was given to Jamel Tito Dean Smith, 19, who appeared in arraignments. He is represented by Mr. Mark Pettingill.

Sean Charles Smith is also accused of murdering Wilson between February 14 and February 22 last year. He has denied the charge.

Jake W. Spencer, 25, who was charged with the stabbing death of his 23-year-old brother Umoja Spencer will be sentenced today, after he pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of manslaughter.

Also during yesterday's arraignments: Frederick William Smith, 61, pleaded guilty to stealing $215,000 from Baptist Building Supply between September 22 1989 and August 26 1994.

He is represented by Mr. Mark Pettingill and will be sentenced on June 13.

Eugene Floyd Anderson, 33, pleaded guilty to 11 charges of stealing, robbery, possessing an offensive weapon, stealing a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.

Between December 10 last year and January 17 this year Anderson snatched three handbags valued at $800, $150, and $2,843.45.

He also stole $100 from the Bermuda Botanical Society, $275.35 and other possessions from a person while armed with a knife, and assaulted a Police officer.

Anderson, who is represented by Mr. Archie Warner, told Chief Justice the Hon.

Mr. Justice Ward that he just wanted to be sentenced and did not want a social inquiry report done.

He will be sentenced on June 13.

Americans Julia M. Mercado, 28, and Lorraine C. Negroni, 24, both pleaded not guilty to conspiring to import cocaine into Bermuda on January 13.

However, they both pleaded guilty to importation and possession of cocaine intended for supply.

The Attorney General's Chambers accepted their plea, and a psychiatric report was ordered for both women.

American citizen Michael Dwayne Jackson, 28, of Horseshoe Road Southampton pleaded not guilty to possessing more than $60,000 worth of heroin with intent to supply.

Mr. Justice Ward bailed Jackson in the sum of $1,000 and his case will be mentioned on July 3. He is represented by Mr. Mark Pettingill. Dean Leslie Eve, 24, of Cedar Park Road in Devonshire pleaded not guilty to breaking and entering the home of Colin Gilbert on November 5 last year and wounding him with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, wounding with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm, and wounding him.

His alleged accomplice Ernest Heys Johnston did not show and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The case was set down for mention on July 3, bail for Eve was extended. In other arraignment news, Fitzgerald Glen Richardson, 27, pleaded not guilty to intending to cause Stuart Williams grievous bodily harm, but he admitted causing him grievous bodily harm.
