The woman suffered facial injuries following a dispute with her 43-year-old boyfriend at her home in Sandys Parish on Wednesday evening.

Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning said Police arrived at the house around 9.40 p.m. and found the woman bleeding "profusely'' from her nose and mouth.

Her boyfriend was arrested in connection with the incident, P.c. Venning said.

Also on Wednesday, around 10 p.m., a 29-year-old Warwick man was cut on the hand with a knife, following a "heated'' argument with a relative.

The man required treatment at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

Police are on the lookout for a man who stole an undisclosed amount of jewellery and coins from a Pembroke home while the owners were home.

The occupant of the house told Police she was on the phone around 10 p.m. on Wednesday when she heard a sound in her bedroom.

When she went to investigate, the woman said she saw a man fleeing through the kitchen.

The woman noticed that a "large'' quantity of jewellery and several jars of loose coins had been stolen from the bedside table.
