following reports of an aggravated robbery.

The manager of the Clearview Guest House west of Bailey's Bay told Police she and her daughter had received a call requesting check-in service; the manager -- whom Police described as elderly -- subsequently attended the main office.

There she met a young male whom, she reported, grabbed her around the neck from behind and demanded she surrender her handbag.

The woman complied and the suspect escaped out a back door with the bag, which contained a "sizeable'' quantity of cash. He was last seen running down the Railway Trail.

The thief is described as light-brown skinned, clean shaven, about 17-25 years old and approximately five-foot ten-inches tall.

He was wearing a blue shirt, blue pants, a white or blue crash helmet, and a red, white, and blue scarf.
