Sgt. Grant speculated that yesterday's high numbers were the result of the new Police radar guns and the festive season.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Phil Taylor yesterday told Magistrates' Court that Police saw a suspicious exchange between Kevin Lawrence Smith, of Smith Avenue, Warwick, and another man at the junction of Middle Road and Khyber Pass in Warwick on September 6.

Smith later admitted that the substance in the packets were drugs for his personal use. The drugs were found to be .29 grams of 84-percent pure cocaine in its crack or freebase form.
