Pembroke will appear in Magistrates' Court this morning.

One of the two victims in the incident, that occurred near Crisson Avenue earlier this month, died this week.

Mr. Stanley Barnett, 35, died in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital's Intensive Care Unit after being beaten over the head by at least three men.

He, and a 31-year-old man, were believed to have been beaten with blunt instruments.

The other man was moved to a general ward of the hospital and later released.

Police spokesman Sgt. John Dale yesterday said while the two Pembroke men, one 24 and the other 21, will appear in court today, the investigation into Mr.

Barnett's death was still ongoing.
