returned and attacked employees with several weapons -- including a gun.

The attack occurred shortly before 4 a.m. on Sunday near the Oasis Night Club, Police said.

Two employees had just locked up the club and were returning to their vehicles when they were attacked by a group of youths -- two 21-year-olds and a 19-year-old wielding various weapons.

The two men were able to fend off the attackers until Police arrived, Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning said.

And although shaken by the ordeal the victims escaped serious injury. One received a graze on the side of his face.

Prompt action by management in calling the Police prevented more serious injuries from being inflicted, P.c. Venning said.

Several weapons, including half a pool cue, a machete, and a BB gun were later recovered by Police. And the three men are now in custody.

The incident remains under investigation.

Oasis manager Mr. Mark Osborne said he preferred not to comment until after he had spoken with the club's owners.
