The Seventh Day Adventist Church of Bermuda will fund the new seniors residence, which will be located on First Avenue, Devonshire.

A church spokesman said the unoccupied building will need extensive interior renovations to make it comfortable for older patients.

The Development Applications Board is expected to hand down its decision on the application within the next three months.
