Pembroke man assaulted

He said he went to a residence and was approached by a man known to him who allegedly hit him in the throat and then kicked his feet out from under him, causing him to fall. He managed to flee his attacker and report the matter at the Hamilton Police Station.

He said that he had stopped his cycle and was talking with friends when he was approached by a man known to him who asked for a ride. He refused and the two men scuffled. The complainant then headed for his cycle but was punched in the mouth and another scuffle broke out which ended when a nearby resident said the Police had been called.

The female complainant told Police that her handbag contained a quantity of cash, credit cards and four tickets to the XL Bermuda Open tennis tournament.
TOURIST ACCOMODATION RAIDED CRM Tourist accommodation raided A visitor staying at a Middle road, Paget accommodation reported the theft of her handbag from off her bed between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday. The bag contained a quantity of cash, credit cards and other personal items.
HI-FI EQUIPMENT TAKEN CRM Hi-fi equipment taken An Aerial View Road, Devonshire resident reported the ransacking of her kitchen and bedroom and theft of several items on Saturday.
The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between 1 p.m. and 7.45 p.m.. Two lamps, JVC and Panasonic CD players, cassette decks and TVs, pieces of clay pottery, and several items of men's clothing were stolen.
SCHOOL BROKEN INTO OVER WEEKEND CRM School broken into over weekend A thief targeted the Victor Scott School on Glebe Road, Pembroke over the weekend. The thief broke into the office foyer and stole a quantity of cash from an office drawer.
