emergency department is looking brighter -- thanks to $2,000 from the women's group, Beta Sigma Phi.

The cash was used to buy furniture, curtains, wall hangings, toys and books, designed to make children feel more at home when they are in hospital.

Beta Sigma Phi, which has had a chapter in Bermuda since 1958, is a worldwide social and cultural organisation for women.
