In one incident a 49-year-old St. George's man pushed a St. George's woman onto a bed during an argument on Monday evening.

He then struck her repeatedly with a small, sharp object leaving her with facial injuries.

Another incident took place on Court Street on Monday afternoon.

A 15-year-old from Pembroke confronted a 37-year-old Pembroke man with an empty bottle and struck him in the face, causing injuries.

Police also responded to five reports of break-ins, or attempts, and 12 reports of stealing.

In one incident, a 65-year-old woman had her Bible and handbag stolen. The handbag, minus cash, and Bible were later recovered.
