And a spokesman for the service confirmed that the civilian manager of the club, situated in the grounds of Police headquarters at Prospect, is now on "administrative leave''.
Three weeks ago The Royal Gazette revealed that several guests had witnessed cannabis being smoked openly in front of senior officers at a party held on the evening of November 10.
Towards the end of the evening a Police Sergeant requested that partygoers should stop smoking drugs, although no further action was taken and the drugs party continued.
On-duty officers were also called to the club after a fight broke out amongst revellers.
Although Police have stressed that the party had not been organised by themselves, a number of officers are believed to have been present.
