accommodation on South Shore, which occurred on Wednesday.

In the early hours of the morning someone entered a visiting couple's room at the accommodation on White Sands Road while they were out and removed a wallet, small bag and a pair of sunglasses and binoculars.

Some of the items, including the wallet minus its cash, were later found on the property.

Elsewhere, a man was discovered in a Church Valley Lane, Sandys, residence by a neighbour at 4.40 p.m. who heard a noise coming from the unoccupied apartment.

The man ran off on being discovered and it was not known yesterday whether any property was stolen.

Shortly before midnight on Wednesday a Friswells Road resident returned home and was told by a neighbour that someone had broken into his apartment.

Some household items and a number of compact discs were reportedly stolen.

The victim searched the surrounding area and discovered a 13-year-old girl he believed to be the thief. He chased her and managed to grab her rucksack but she escaped.

Police enquiries have revealed the girl's identity and enquiries are continuing into this and the other two incidents.
