Police issue traffic advice for big events
attend tomorrow night's soccer match at National Stadium.
The game, between Bermuda's under-23s and Costa Rica's under-23s, is due to kick off at 8.30 p.m. Parking for spectators will be available at Frog Lane field and the field next to the Police Operations Division compound. Invited spectators will be able to park on the western side of the National Stadium from Roberts Avenue.
Parking will be prohibited at Frog Lane, Gymnasium Road, and in the water catchment area between Gymnasium Road and Frog Lane.
Police have also issued the following traffic advice for the 375th Anniversary of Parliament to be held in St. George's on Tuesday.
King's Square and Water Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic after 3.30 p.m.
Parking will be prohibited on Kent Street, Blockade Alley, York Street East, Bridge Street, King's Square, Water Street,and at the Bermuda Electric Light Company and Tiger Bay car parks.
Parking will be available for the general public at the Penno's Wharf car park.
The Police will close off streets or portions of streets and will direct traffic and authorise parking as the Commissioner of Police decides.
