The woman called Police a month after the body of Mr. Ivan Dunlop was found behind St. Paul AME church on Court Street.

Now detectives investigating the murder are desperate to talk to her again.

Mr. Dunlop, a golf caddy at the Mid Ocean Club, was found lying in an alleyway behind the church on December 21.

The 48-year-old was believed to have had no fixed address.

Police called a Press conference at the church the next day and appealed for the public's help in solving the crime. "We're still actively investigating the murder,'' said Police spokeswoman Sgt. Roseanda Jones.

"We're very anxious to speak with a middle-aged Bermudian woman who telephoned Det. Con. Cherrie Bean sometime between 9 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. on Monday, January 24.

"We believe she has some valuable information that will assist us further in this murder investigation.

"We're appealing for this women to contact Det. Con. Bean or Det. Insp.

Jonathan Smith at 295-0011 as soon as possible.'' A thief has robbed hospital patients of a valuable physiotherapy machine.

The portable ultra-sound equipment was snatched from a ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

And Police have warned it could be harmful in the wrong hands.

The blue and white ultra-sound machine, made by Mettler Electronics, was taken earlier this week.

"This equipment is for specific treatment of injuries by qualified personnel and misuse can be quite dangerous,'' said Sgt. Jones.

"Apart from being expensive, the equipment is in daily use by the physiotherapy department at the hospital, and the staff would appreciate it being returned.'' An athletic thief climbed a drainpipe leading to a balcony before breaking into a home, Police believe. He broke in through an insecure sliding glass door and stole about $450 from the house on Rosemont Avenue earlier this week.

Despite repeated warnings by police residents continue to leave their property unsecured.

A Devonshire woman was robbed of $450 together with credit cards and personal items. The thief gained entry through an unsecured window.

A guest at a Warwick Hotel frightened an early morning intruder. The startled would be thief scampered empty handed. Entry was made through an open sliding glass door.
