school programme which ran last year, the public can learn their rights within criminal law; learn the Police procedures during investigation, arrest, and prosecution; and even discover why sentences differ for persons convicted for similar crimes, Police spokesperson Evelyn James Barnett said.

Other topics will include how to protect one's home; how to pursue the drug dealer and prosecute the offender; and the Crime Stoppers programme.

The course is also an ideal place to learn about the workings of the Police and could be used as a platform into the Service or Reserves, Mrs. James Barnett added.

The classes are free and are open to anyone 16 years or older. They will run from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. between March 10 and April 21.
