arrest and conviction of James Caines' killer.

Twenty-eight-year-old Mr. Caines was gunned down on Saturday, July 6, as he was sitting in a house on Curving Lane, Pembroke.

Despite being shot in the head, Mr. Caines managed to stagger hundreds of yards to his home on Union Street.

He collapsed in the arms of his mother, Sandra Cyrus, who said her son had named his killer before he died.

Three men were later taken into custody in connection with the shooting, but were released on Police bail.

And last Friday Police said they were offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Mr. Caines' killer.

The hunt for Mr. Caines' murderer is being led by Det. Chf. Insp. Sinclair White and Police hope the reward will encourage people to come forward with information.
