psychiatric reports on a 32-year-old construction worker who attacked a couple at their wedding rehearsal.

Steven Cornell Raynor, of St. David's, pleaded guilty to charges of unlawfully assaulting the Rev. Anthony Hollis, unlawfully damaging Rev. Hollis' glasses, unlawfully doing bodily harm to Stephanie Hill, and unlawfully assaulting Royal Gazette reporter Henry Adderley.

He told Police he believed someone was trying to poison him.

Raynor also admitted to unlawfully assaulting Gerald Ryan and Deborah DeWitt, assaulting and doing bodily harm to Charles Lucas, and breaking and entering with the intent to steal the Lucas' yacht.

Police Prosecutor Sgt. Rex Osborne said Rev. Hollis went into the Unfinished Church in St. George's at 7.40 p.m. on September 25 and was hit on the back of the head. He was also punched a couple of times.

Sgt. Osborne said Hill, who was following behind Rev. Hollis, was hit in the head and back by Raynor.

Ryan was near his car around 7.50 p.m. that same evening when Raynor demanded the keys to the car. When Ryan refused, Raynor punched and kicked him.

Shortly after that, DeWitt -- a visitor -- saw Raynor under a table on a yacht belonging to Lucas.

Raynor said: "Don't scream I've got a gun.'' They eventually managed to subdue Raynor and tied him up with a rope.

Sgt. Osborne said Raynor later told Police: "You guys don't understand.

People have been trying to poison me for two weeks.'' Yesterday, Raynor told Mr. King he was taking cover in the church.

However, he said he still believed that someone was trying to poison him.
