by two of her passengers in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Devonshire woman reported to Police she picked up two men from South Shore Road in Warwick at about 2 a.m. and took them to Pearman's Hill in the same parish.

At Pearman's Hill one of the men -- believed to be holding a weapon -- got out of the taxi, went to the driver's window and put his hand over the driver's mouth.

She told Police the man demanded she hand over all her money. But she managed to escape by driving off when the second man got out of the taxi to assist his friend.
