And the Deputy Governor's Office is arranging for Dr. Saul to meet with Sir Nicholas Bonsor, the British Cabinet Minister with responsibility for Bermuda.

Dr. Saul plans to stop in London on his way to the World Economic Forum in Davos.

As a result of comments Governor Lord Waddington made in a recent speech to Hamilton Lions Club, Dr. Saul hopes to discuss the possibility of easier entry and employment for Bermudians in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Saul said Mr. Major was a close friend he has known since he was Finance Minister and Mr. Major was Chancellor of the Exchequer. His visit with Mr.

Major was planned in advance of Lord Waddington's speech.

But the exploratory talks are in response to the speech, in which Lord Waddington said there could be changes in Bermuda's relations with the UK, short of constitutional change.

The Governor also raised the possibility of changes once Hong Kong is returned to China in 1997.
