stole a motorcycle.

Psalm Lawsin Williams, of Rambling Lane, Pembroke pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to that offence and riding while under age and without third-party insurance.

Police saw Williams riding a Yamaha motorcycle east on Water Street, St.

George's, shortly after midnight on December 31, prosecuting Insp. Peter Duffy said.

When stopped Williams said he found the cycle.

But subsequent Police checks showed that he did not have a valid driver's licence and the cycle belonged to Mr. Calvin Richardson.

Williams later admitted that he had stolen the cycle which was recovered intact.

Noting that Williams was not accompanied by an adult to court, Acting Senior Magistrate the Wor. John Judge said this caused him great concern and he ordered a social inquiry report.

Mr. Judge also took Williams off the road for a year.

Williams will be sentenced for the other offences on March 23 when the report is expected to be completed.

He was bailed in the sum of $300 with a surety.
