In what was possibly the most serious one, a 42-year-old St. George's man received a fractured hip when his pedal cycle was in collision with a motorcycle on Water Street in St. George's.

The accident happened shortly before 5.30 p.m. on Saturday. The rider of the Peugeot motorcycle, a 35-year-old St. George's man, was not injured.

At about 2.30 a.m. yesterday, a Pembroke man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after a single-vehicle accident on Palmetto Road. The extent of his injuries was not immediately known.

And at about 3.30 p.m. yesterday, two visitors received scrapes and bruises when their livery cycle collided with the wall of the Bank of Butterfield in St. George's, a Police spokesman said.
