Edward Fox, of Pendle Lane, admitted in Magistrates' Court to five counts of driving an unlicensed vehicle and two counts of no third-party insurance.
Fox, who was described as having a "horrendous'' record of similar offences by prosecutor Sgt. Phil Taylor, was stopped on five different occasions.
Magistrate Edward King ordered Fox to pay the maximum fine of $300 for each charge of driving an unlicensed vehicle, and fined him $500 for each charge of having no third-party insurance.
Mr. King also banned Fox from driving a car for six months.
