Pembroke man in stable condition in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.The man was believed to have been involved in a fight with another man at Swinging Doors nightclub on Court Street prior to the stabbing.

The man was believed to have been involved in a fight with another man at Swinging Doors nightclub on Court Street prior to the stabbing.
Police spokesperson Evelyn James-Barnett said Police were called to the scene on Angle Street, just east of the junction with Court Street, around 2.30 a.m.
yesterday.
They found the man, who was being helped by his mother and other members of the public, lying on the ground.
Ms James-Barnett said the stabbing, to the man's midsection, was witnessed by several people and Police inquiries were continuing.
