Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis ordered a social inquiry report on the 17-year-old and ordered him to appear for sentencing on June 2.

Prosecutor Sgt. Kenrick James said Smith stole two Yamahas while they were parked at Horseshoe Bay parking lot last summer. He stole a third Yamaha from City Hall parking lot on November 6.

The cycles had all been locked, he said. Two were later recovered in "stripped'' condition, but the third was never found.

Sgt. James said Smith stole the bikes while concerned together with another youth who has already been dealt with by the court.

He was arrested on January 9 following Police inquiries.
