Students make primary impression

Three Chubb Atlantic Indemnity Limited employees and the PTA President, Llewellyn Ming, spent three-hours at the public school property near Cashew City on Wednesday morning.

The school received the same amount of money last year after passing a series of requirements set by Chubb Atlantic.

Chubb Atlantic Vice President, Director of Finance and Planning, Kathryn Simons, wrote to the school: "You should be very proud of the progress that you have made over the last year.

Principal Eddie Wright said: "As the smallest primary school in the public system, we are especially grateful for additional financial support.

After the school visit, each executive and Mr. Ming wrote a small message in the school's visitor log.

Juliet Simmons wrote: "A wonderful inspiring visit. Congratulations to all the staff at St. David's Primary for all your efforts and great work.'' Paula Goodchild wrote: "I had a pleasurable experience visiting the (school).

The teachers are really dedicated in providing the students with learning/literacy skills so that they are equipped for life.'' Christine Jones wrote: "It is extremely inspiring to see such interested and engaging young people who are eager to learn.

"The teachers are obviously so personally involved and really care about the development of their students. We are very impressed.''
